At Colt, sustainability is a core ingredient of their DNA and future business strategy. Sustainability matters at every level of their organisation and one of the reasons we partner with them

In December 2022, Colt Group resubmitted an updated near-term science-based target to ensure our baseline is aligned to best practice and the most recent requirements set by the Science-Based Targets initiative (SBTi). They also submitted their long-term and Net Zero targets, which were approved in 2023.

Ambitious Science Based Targets

Becoming the sustainable supplier of choice is a key pillar of Colt's ESG strategy. As a large company with Global operations, Colt want to lead by example when working with their suppliers, partners, customers and communities to reduce their impact on the environment.

Colt have comprehensive, Near-Term and Long-Term Net Zero emissions targets approved by the Science-Based Targets initiative (SBTi). Their Long-Term Net Zero target has been approved in accordance with the SBTi Net Zero Standard, the first of its kind.

The 2024 Colt Sustainability Report highlights significant progress in environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives, including a 35% reduction in CO2 emissions since 2019 and a commitment to 90% renewable energy procurement.
